How to Purchase Your Custom Design

You've designed your perfect controller in the Factory, and now you're ready to make it a reality. This is the exciting final step where you move your unique creation from the design studio to our workshop.


This guide will walk you through the simple and secure process of purchasing your custom controller.




Before You Begin: The Final Review


We cannot stress this enough: once your order is submitted, the physical design is locked in and sent to our production team. Before proceeding, please take a moment to go through our final review guide.

This checklist will help you confirm everything from the component layout to the spelling on your text labels, ensuring there are no surprises.




Step 1: The "Make It!" Button


Once you have completed your final review and are 100% confident in your design, it's time to take the plunge.


  • In the Factory app, click the prominent "Make It!" button.


This action will save your final design and transfer it as a unique product to our secure online shop.


Step 2: The Shopping Cart


After clicking "Make It!", you will be automatically redirected to your Shopping Cart in our online store. Here you should see:


  • An item with the unique name you gave your project (e.g., "My Awesome Live Rig").
  • The final price of your custom controller, as confirmed by the hardware calculator in the Factory.


Review this to ensure it's the correct design, and then click "Proceed to Checkout."


Step 3: The Checkout Process


This is where you will provide all the necessary information to complete your order. Fill out the following sections carefully:


  1. Billing & Shipping Details: Enter your name and the complete, accurate shipping address where you want to receive your controller. Please double-check for typos to avoid any delivery issues.
  2. Review Order & Shipping Costs: On this page, the system will calculate the final shipping cost based on your address. You will see the total cost of your order (Controller Price + Shipping) before you pay.
  3. Select Payment Method: Choose your preferred payment method from our available options (e.g., Credit Card, PayPal).


Step 4: The Community Sharing Option (Optional)


During checkout, you will be presented with an option to share your design in the public Yaeltex community gallery.


  • If you choose to share: Your design will be visible for others to be inspired by, purchase, or even remix. You will be proudly credited as the original designer!
  • If you choose not to share: Your design will remain private and will not be published. The choice is entirely yours.


Step 5: Place Your Order


Once all your information is entered and you've made your sharing preference, click the final "Place Order" button to complete the transaction.




What Happens Next?


Congratulations! Your vision is now officially in our production queue.


  • Confirmation Email: You will receive an order confirmation email to the address you provided. This email is your receipt and contains your order details.
